 Ashley Kuehnel is the founder and face of Midwestern Bride. Since its origination in 2011 MB has executed more than 300+ events and built a team of planners that each come with their own set of unique qualifications for event planning.

Midwestern Bride specializes in event design, organization, and execution. Our mission is to build relationships with our clients that allow us to assist them in telling their story in a fresh, innovative, and engaging way. We lead a team of Type A ladies that delight in organization and event management. Our clients are our family so we work side by side with our couples and companies to ensure that each part of their experience with MB is professional, precise, and personalized.

Ashley Kuehnel (Owner, Lead Planner)

Ashley has been working in the event industry for more than 15 years and executing events under Midwestern Bride since its origination in 2011 while living in Chicago.

As the owner Ashley personally trains each and every planner and oversees all of Midwestern Bride's events. Ashley only take a limited number of full planning events per year to ensure that each client gets her utmost care and attention throughout the process. Known for her honest and candid personality she's never one to waste time. After growing MB from Chicago to Milwaukee, the to Madison she has continued to expand her reach throughout the Midwest and beyond.

Her business integrity, style, and rapport has earned her a space on several preferred vendor lists and exclusive publications. Ashley's work has been featured on Style Me Pretty, Green Wedding Shoes, Wedding Chicks, Junebug Weddings, Modern Luxury Wedding, The Knot, and more.

On a personal level Ashley is a mom of two boys (bring on the Legos), wife to a perfectionist husband, and lover of all things competitive. You will often see her no makeup in live's on instagram, boxing, or wrestling around with her wild family.
